Larry DuBose
Associate Pastor
Larry has served in church and Christian school ministry for more than 50 years. He holds degrees from Toccoa Falls College (BS), Florida State University (MA) and Pensacola Christian College (PhD). He is married to Laurel and they have 2 sons and 9 grandchildren.
Curtis Powell
Music Director
Curtis Powell, Music Director, grew up at ACBC and returned home in 2000. He is widely recognized throughout the North Florida area as a leading pianist, accompanist/collaborator and music director, and maintains an active performance schedule.
Mr. Powell has over 150 musical theater production credits to his name. There are also over 100 sacred, oratorio and opera productions he has been involved in. He has performed throughout the United States and Europe.
For a eleventh year he is a visiting Guest Artist at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, vocal coaching and collaborating with musical theater students.
Mr. Powell has previously been recognized by the St. Johns County Commission for his contribution to the arts. EMMA – The St. Augustine Concert Association – has made him an honorary board member for his work on their behalf. In 2015 he was recognized as one of “10 Who Make a Difference” in St. Augustine.
